When the details determine the overall appearance!
Textured formliners (e.g. from RECKLI GmbH) open up almost unlimited freedom in concrete design. They transform grey surfaces into tactile experiences.
But as is so often the case in construction, the devil is in the details: in the anchor points.
The dilemma of geometry
Formwork anchors are almost indispensable in construction, but they leave anchor holes that mercilessly interrupt the pattern of the formwork. With textured concrete, the closure becomes a master’s test: a smooth standard Conus looks like a foreign object here. 😱
The solution from MARO GmbH 🚀
We have tailored our system precisely to this demanding exposed concrete task:
1️⃣ Precision thanks to the MARO Sealing Cone: our technology enables a sharp-edged and bleed-free anchor point. No frayed edges or sanding that detract from the appearance.
2️⃣ Structural continuity: We can transfer almost any surface of common formwork matrices to our MARO closure cones.
The structure is continued in detail.
3️⃣ Colour perfection: In addition to 20 standard grey tones, we mix any desired colour individually in our laboratory.
☝ Important information about the images: The current sample photos show a test area. Our standard grey was deliberately used here. The final colour adjustment is only made once the concrete has dried completely 🌞 and its final character is apparent.
🚧 Planning reliability for architects and site managers:
If you dare to use texture, you should not compromise on the closure. Only when the anchor point blends in with its surroundings – both haptically and in terms of colour – is the result truly high-quality.
Do you have a current project with texture matrices? We would be happy to assist you in sampling the appropriate closure cones.
