State-of-the-art laboratory buildings have been constructed at the Innovation Campus Lemgo, with an interior design that provides the ideal environment for research and teaching.
The exposed concrete in performance classes 3 and 4 was precisely executed by PORR Hochbau West using MEVA formwork.
No corners were cut when it came to the details either. For instance, the 4,500 anchor points were sealed using 9,000 specially matched MARO plugs.
Site manager Lukas Kettler comments:
“Thanks to our collaboration with MARO, we were able to present the client with a harmonious and high-quality overall appearance of the exposed concrete walls. The slightly recessed MARO exposed concrete cones add further design accents in exposed concrete classes SB3 and SB4.”
A successful example of the impact of details in exposed concrete.
