On 27 August 2024, this year’s Froschmeier Summer Seminar focused on precisely these subtleties. As a long-standing partner for exposed concrete accessories, we at MARO were able to play an active role in shaping this day. Our managing director, Philipp Mathies, took participants on a journey through two decades of construction site experience.

Under the title ‘Exposed concrete details: what really matters’, Philipp Mathies shared his in-depth knowledge, which he has gained in over 20 years of supplying and advising on construction projects. Against an impressive backdrop of building materials and equipment, he emphasised that the quality of exposed concrete begins with the selection of the right accessories – from spacer solutions to precise formwork technology.

Interest was enormous: nearly 80 participants accepted the invitation. What made this event special was the diverse mix of experts:
From craft businesses in the region to construction companies – from foremen to senior site managers, everyone was represented.
This mix ensured a lively exchange and exciting questions directly from the field.
